The Cecilia International Choir perform a wide variety of music in concerts spread throughout the year. Ticket prices are always reasonable. At Christmas we usually throw in some minced pies and mulled wine to add to the festive spirit. For information on forthcoming concerts, contact Jean on +31 (0)70 320 2805. Sometimes it is possible to purchase tickets at the door of our concerts, but it is advisable to call to check just in case.

The Annual Programme
December
We perform three carol concerts in different local Churches. Many of the carols are traditional but we include some less well-known ones as well. The audience are invited to join in many of their old favourites. In recent years, the Monday Singers, a well-known quality group of female close harmony singers, have performed a segment of the programme.
March
Our choir members and invited guests enjoy a supper party, during an evening interspersed with music on a given theme. Recent themes have included modern musicals, all at sea, and the 1940's. Some themes lend themselves to dress styles for those interested in getting into the right atmosphere. In this event, smaller groups of choir members are encouraged to perform some party pieces.
June
Our summer concert is our prime quality performance of the year, where we undertake one or more major choral works, often accompanied by a professional orchestra. Recent programmes have included Faure Requiem (2008), Bach Magnificat and Haydn mass in D (2007), Bernstein Chichester Psalms and Orff Carmina Burana (2006), Mozart's Requiem and Vivaldi's Gloria (2005), Rutter's Magnificat (2004) and Handels' Messiah (2000)

2009-10 Programme
Summer Concert 2010: Haydn, The Creation
We will perform Haydn's Creation with the Florilegium Musicum orchestra. The soloists are Dorothea Jakob, Jean-Leon Klostermann and Nicolas Boulanger and the conductor is MaNoj kamps.
